In October, Laurel and I headed to Brooklyn for Brooklyn Beta. It was a fantastic time. We stayed in Bed-Stuy at a great AirBnB, in a neighbourhood that was a little raw around the edges but really just reinforced that sometimes we have skewed perceptions that we should ignore. People are people.
